A Caribbean Soul Finds the Sea of Cortez

I grew up on a Caribbean island, so when I moved to Arizona in 1997, I missed the ocean. A lot. Someone told me about Rocky Point. They called it "Arizona's beach," so I drove down to check it out. That first trip changed everything.

What I discovered four hours across the Sonoran landscape exceeded every expectation. The Sea of Cortez stretched before me in impossible shades of turquoise and sapphire, while the warmth of the Mexican sun on my skin felt like a homecoming. This was no mere substitute. It was a revelation.

So we started buying properties. One at a time. We picked the best beachfront locations we could find: condos with spectacular ocean views and even a private villa. And we've been personally managing them ever since.

Where Desert Meets Sea

Puerto Peñasco captivated us instantly. In those early days, Sandy Beach was still wild. ATVs traced patterns in the sand, campers dotted the shoreline. But we envisioned its transformation: elegant resorts rising against endless blue horizons, world-class amenities married to untouched natural beauty.

Nearly three decades later, that vision has materialized beyond our dreams. And yet, the essence remains unchanged: crystalline waters, spectacular sunsets, and the kind of soul-deep tranquility that only the ocean can provide.

We still personally own and operate every single property in our collection. When you book with us, you're dealing directly with the owner. Not a property management company. My family and I call Rocky Point our second home, and we want you to feel the same way when you stay with us.

Because we own these properties ourselves, we can guarantee the quality. The mattresses are comfortable because we sleep on them. The kitchens are well-stocked because we cook in them. The views are spectacular because we picked these units specifically for that reason.

People ask me all the time: "Is it really only four hours from Phoenix?" Yes. Four hours and you're in a completely different world. The pace is slower. The music is different. You're on beach time now.
